Today’s outing led me to Lake Harriet. The red wine I had earlier in the afternoon left me very relaxed and especially pleased with the warmth. My world is so small, but remains rich with wonder and discovery. I am glad I find subtlety and small things interesting for the most part. Minneapolis is such a great place to live sometimes.
After catching the scenery at Lake Harriet, I wandered to the Lyndale Park Garden and neighboring Peace Rock Garden. The rose garden was not ready for prime time so I basically skipped that and headed straight for the color! I am especially pleased with the images I got there. The setting of the sun translated nicely into the progression of photos, with the last image having an almost surreal cool tone that I chose to retain in post processing.
